·         The Dock Bug Coreus marginatus is a common squashbug (or leatherbug) and it is often to be found in aggregations with several stages of the life-history present at once. As the vernacular name suggests this bug feeds mainly on Docks Rumex sp. but it may also be found on other shrubs. It is absent from the northern counties in the UK.
